HAZE REVIEW
The club -- which is massive, the 25,000 square foot kind of massive -- is vaguely dream like or it's vaguely whatever it's called when 3 in the morning you've haven't had to much to drink, but you've had some and you're just feeling really good. What would that be called? Oh yes, a haze.
In a decor that's metallic, blacks, reds and golds, it doesn't exactly seem like reality inside Haze's walls, but that's sort of the point, right?
There's a towering light and projection wall in back gthat uses technology straight out of some sci fi movie only your nerd friends saw (you saw it, too, we know). Giant silver rig- like contraptions hang above the dance floor and can be brought down several feel and rotated to make the club feel like it's alive, or at the very least, moving.
The clubs second/top level is lined with catwalk-esque railings that allow for you to see everthing and everyone to see you. It's on the second floor on the back side (in front of that giant light wall) that Haze pulls out the big guns w
ith top notch talent and performances.
There are three bars and 60 tables and we can't drive home enough just how fluid the whole thing feels. Even in a back bar area, off to the side of the main floor, there's a place to catch your breath, but not miss Estelle rocking it on the mike or your best friend running game on some bottle service patron.
In front of the DJ booth is the dance floor and it's defiitely large enough for you to do something embarrassing, so watch out. (Or just tell your friends they didn't actually see you do The Worm -- after all memories are going to be a little hazy after the night ends anyways.)
