WASTED SPACE REVIEW
Sin City is pretty fond of its nightclubs, so to come crashing onto the scene and declare yourself an "anti-club" – like Wasted Space did in July 2008 – might be considered a little bit of a risky move.
It's probably fair to say that Wasted Space's partners and creators (which in
clude the driving force of Carey Hart coupled with Jason Giambi and Benji and Joel Madden) are used to risk though and it's thanks to this adventuresome spirit that Las Vegas has a place for the unwashed masses, and we mean that in the best, most hard-rocking way possible.
The 5,000-square-foot anti-club houses a stage for live performances, 17 table spaces and a 24-hour lounge with more seating. And that's just a bare bones description.
Although the Hard Rock occasionally comes off as intimidating with the glitz of the Hollywood celebrity crowd, Wasted Space manages to embrace the celebrity, but bring everyone into the fold. It's a lot like rock music itself – you either get it or you don't.
